2. Purposes of processing

We process personal data where necessary to provide the website and platform, manage user accounts, operate security functions, answer requests and process target profiles, radar requests and opportunity data created by users.

3. Website and security data

When the website is accessed, technically necessary information may be processed, including IP address, time, requested resource, browser and device information, server logs and error logs. Within the application, security events may be logged using a non-reversible hash of the IP address.

4. User account

When registering and using an account, we process information such as name, business email address, company, password hash, account and plan status, and technical login metadata. Passwords are not stored in plain text.

5. Target profiles, radar and opportunities

Users can save search and target-customer profiles, radar settings, notes and processing status. GetNexSignal may structure information from approved public sources, customer-provided sources or properly licensed sources. This may include company information and publicly visible professional information in a B2B context.

A detected business signal is not automatically treated as confirmed purchase intent. Scores are used solely to prioritize research results.

6. Contact requests

If you contact us, we process the contact details and message content you provide in order to handle your request and continue requested business communication where appropriate.

7. Legal bases

Depending on the processing activity, we rely on contract performance or pre-contractual steps, legal obligations and legitimate interests in secure, efficient and user-friendly platform operation. Where consent is required, it is obtained separately.

8. Cookies and local storage

A technically necessary session cookie is used for login, session management and security. Confirmation of the cookie notice may be stored locally in the browser. Optional analytics and marketing technologies are disabled by default. See our Cookie policy.

9. Recipients and service providers

Hosting, email, security and infrastructure providers may be used for technical operation. They receive data only where necessary for their task and where processing is legally permitted.

10. Hosting and international transfers

The technical infrastructure may involve service providers in different jurisdictions. Where legally required, appropriate safeguards are used for international transfers.

11. Retention

Data is generally retained only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose or statutory retention obligations. Contact requests are normally cleaned up after 180 days where no continuing business relationship or retention obligation exists. Technical security logs are normally cleaned up after 30 days unless longer retention is required to investigate a specific security incident.

12. Data-subject rights

Subject to applicable law, rights may include access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. Consent can be withdrawn for the future where applicable.

13. Direct marketing

GetNexSignal does not itself use personal data to send unsolicited mass advertising. Users who use researched or exported information for their own outreach are responsible for the lawfulness of their subsequent communication.

14. Complaints

Individuals may have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection authority. The competent authority depends on the person concerned, the market and applicable law.

15. Security

The platform uses measures including password hashing, CSRF protection, secure session attributes, rate limits and security headers. HTTPS, backups, access restrictions and regular updates are part of secure production operation.

16. Changes

This privacy policy may be updated when functions, law or technical service providers change. The current version is published on this website.
